Filipino sportsman Rodrigo ‘Rudy’ Salud passed away at 12:30 p.m. today, Manila time. He was to turn 73 on Sunday, March 13.
Salud, a lawyer by profession, was a founding member of the World Boxing Council (WBC) and served its Secretary General for some time. Salud was the commissioner of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) from 1988 to 1992.
